Description

After working in some of the top Parisian restaurants for five years, Chef Regis Gagnadre decided to return to the countryside and the food that he loves and opened a restaurant in the hills above Les Eyzies. Everything that he serves has been grown by him or foraged from the woods behind his restaurant. With the focus on natural produce the only dairy used in the plates he offers are in the cheeses that he buys from the land where he grew up in the Auvergne.

Regis is a fun character who makes his guests feel like old friends. His five course menu, including wine and coffee depends on what is in season and what is growing locally, but his beef cheeks in red wine and home smoked hams are to die for, Look out for the home made 'eau de vie' at the end of the meal.

Regis speaks perfect English and will gladly explain the menu to you should you need him to.
