L'Auberge du Trèfle à Quatres Feuilles

An excellent, atmospheric charming old restaurant, serving traditional French Cuisine in an inventive way in the heart of the Dordogne.

L'Auberge du Trèfle à Quatres Feuilles or the Four Leaf Clover is a recent find for us, our first visit being in July 2017, but it most certainly won't be our last.

The typically French cuisine is beautifully presented and tastes just as good as it looks. The restaurant serves a light, seasonal, well presented and well balanced array of dishes that show off the inventiveness of Chef Johannes. The restaurant is typically French inside, but the Terrace is delightful in summer. Virginie at front of house ensures excellent friendly service and attention to detail. There are four menus to chose from starting at €26 euros. The wine list although not extensive is interesting enough and complements the menu perfectly.

Virginie speaks very good English and is on hand to help with the menu should you need it.
