This is one of our favourite restaurants, but there are many more in the region. The information is correct at time of writing, but may be subject to change. Prices are only meant as a guide and may not be current.

The Vieux Logis is probably one of the oldest hotel/restaurants in the Dordogne. The decor is typically Pèrigordine filled with many family antiques and the gardens are stunning. Nestled in the sleepy village of Trémolat, Le Vieux Logis has been in the Giraudel-Destord family for 400 years. Bernard Giraudel the present owner takes a deep interest in the food that is served in his restaurant. The food as you would expect is to a very high standard.

Set menus start at €100 euros per head or €125 euros with a selection of local wines included. We can especially recommend the Tapas lunches which can be had Monday to Friday, the cost is €53 euros per head and consists of small dishes of exquisite Pèrigordine fare: foie gras, magret de Canard etc.
